Yolo, California-- Hillstone Olive Oil brings home two gold medals and a Best Of Class for its extra virgin olive oil in the prestigous 2008 Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition. Hillstone produces an Arbequina and an Arbequina / Koroneiki blend in the rolling hills of Yolo County. Ths is the second year they have received honors. The L.A. Fairs International Olive Oil competition is considered the largest competition in the world. In addition to having oils submitted from around the world, the fair ensures the judging panel has representatives from all of the major producing countries.
